I think that most people tend to look best with their natural hair color, but if he insist on changing it, I would suggest maybe just some (blonde) highlights.

Depends on his complexion. If he has a light complexion I say he goes all out w/ BLACK hair. This will definitely bring out his blue eyes and will define his bone structure. Especially is he has the dark facial hair going....... that's freakin' HOT! mmm... otherwise, I say you look at some magazines for ideas........ :)

I would go with something that is close to black, but does not look like a fake black. Dark Dark brown hair with blue eyes is so gorgeous. It will make his blue eyes stand out a lot more too. Best of luck, and remember if you guys don't like the outcome you can always wait 2 weeks and try a different color.

What is his complexion like? Either way, I'd say stick with something that's still brown-based, this way it won't look bad when it starts to grow out and it will more so just bring out some color in his hair. A reddish-brown might be nice if he could pull it off, or a brown-black could look nice too. Again, depends on his skin tone.

Even though it depends on the shape of his face and nose, in general I think the best matching color would be very dark blue like black.. My bf has blue eyes too and the color of his hair is black and it looks real sexy!!! As another example, look at Fredrik Ljungberg.. He is a blue eyed, very hot soccer player and when he died his hair black, he look a lot hotter!

well with blue eyes a nice reddish color would be very nice, or black..i dont think you would want him to go dark brown, cause it wont really make a very big difference

i have mousey brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.. not like pale freckly but not olive.

i find that dying my hair ash blonde suits best.. it goes sorta like a golden blonde colour.

i have dyed my hair golden brown but it went dark brown with a red shine and made me look washed out.

so it depends on ur bfs complexion. if he has olive skin, he'll prob be able to pull off the darker hair colour (prob choose a dark ash brown), otherwise dye it lighter.
