I want to color part of my hair blue but I don't want to bleach it...Help??

I really really want my hair to turn out birght blue cause last time i dyed my hair blue it didnt come out very bright cause my mom wont let me bleach it.....do you know of any hair dye that is semi pemanent that is birhgt but doesnt need bleach???

Use a dye which is light blue in colour and no need of bleach

if your hair isnt blonde, its not gonna be bright unless you bleach it or use one with bleach mix in...then when it fades itll still be bleached underneath, sorry for ya.

You could always get those hair extensions. There's no way to get it bright blue unless you bleach it just because (assuming your hair is brown) of the difference in color.

I tried to dye my hair bright red with semi-permanent dye once and it would not show up...then I tried permanent dye and almost killed my hair dying it twice. Unless you're blessed with being blond then bright colors won't show up unless you bleach.

^I just looked those up really quick, they have small pieces of blue that you can put in your hair and take it out.

The only way to get blue is to lighten the hair then deposit the blue pigment. Unless your hair is blonde to begin with. Otherwise, it just won't show up. And as far as I kno, there is no blue that lifts and deposits in one step.

Go to a salon. Tell your mom they'll do right. Or explain to her it's not like putting bleach on the whole head. It's more like highlighting a bit of hair for maximum results. If she'll let you put blue in your hair, she should'nt mind.

What color is your hair Naturally? The only way to get bright blue is over naturally light blonde hair or if you bleach. Bleach isn't as scary as most people think....as long as you get it foiled at a salon. Please don't make the mistake of using Chlorine bleach...it's not the same and it will destroy your hair. Bleach for your hair uses Hydrogen peroxide.

I did this once and it turned out great! I'm blonde though and I guess you aren't. If you are wanting permanent bleaching it would really help, go to Sally's Beauty in the hair color section. Or you could get strands to clip in, so you can where them when-ever
